Hi David, I didn't forget that I had promised to leave you a comment! This "holey polley" is for 2 new emergency generators which are a part of the precinct wide electrical upgrade for which we recieved funding from the federal and provincial governments. The entire electrical upgrade project is scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2011; but this piece - the electrical generators - is on target for completion around the end of March 2010.
Thanks very much Ang for getting to the bottom of my dirt poll! One person, who shall go unnamed, thought it might be part of the terracotta army exhibit.
